All personalized orders go through a review process and may be declined at our discretion. Below are some common reasons a personalized order may be rejected. These examples are not exhaustive.
Image quality
Your order may be declined if the image you submit is:
- Low quality, pixelated, blurry, backward, or upside down
- Misaligned, cut off, or unreadable
Legal and intellectual property
Images or text may not include:
- Third-party advertisements
- Celebrity images (unless submitted directly by the celebrity)
- References to recalls, lawsuits, or class actions
- Identifiable names or trademarks unless we own the mark or sell the product.
Personally identifiable information (PII)
Images or text may not contain personal information such as:
- Phone numbers, physical or email addresses
- Bank or account numbers, Social Security numbers, passport or driver’s license information, or any other sensitive identifiers
Inappropriate or offensive content
Personalizations may not include material considered offensive or inappropriate.
- No controversial or negative comments about another user, customer, or brand.
- No content relating to abusing or excessive use of drugs or alcohol.
- No content that is considered discriminatory, defamatory, or abusive towards any person, group, nation, religion, political group, celebrity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, or age.
- No content that is derogatory or negative towards the origin of a product or merchandise.
- No content related to violence, nudity, pornography of any kind, serious injury, or death. This also includes violence towards humans or animals.
- No content that is related to legal action against us, the network, a product, or claims that there is malicious intent, malfeasance, or claims of copyright infringement or counterfeit activity.
Profanity
Personalizations may be rejected if they include profanity of any kind, unless the language is part of the original licensed design or brand artwork.
What happens if my personalized order is rejected?
If your personalized order is rejected during the review process, we’ll notify you by email.
Your order will be canceled and refunded, allowing you to submit a new design that follows our personalization policy.
